Position Purpose
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Sales Representative is responsible for selling and promoting the company’s fast-moving consumer goods products to retail stores, wholesalers, and other customers. This role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, achieving sales targets, managing inventory, and ensuring that products are available in the right locations. The sales representative will act as the face of the company in the marketplace, driving product awareness and customer satisfaction.
Key Duties/ Responsibilities.

- Sales and Business Development:
• Identifying and targeting new sales opportunities in the assigned territory.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers (retailers, wholesalers, and distributors).
• Presenting and promoting the company’s FMCG products to potential customers, highlighting key features and benefits.
• Meeting or exceeding monthly and annual sales targets set by the company.
• Upselling and cross-selling products to existing clients to increase sales revenue.

• Building and nurturing long-term relationships with key accounts and customers.
• Providing excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Academic and professional Qualifications and experience required
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• At least 2- 3 years proven experience as a sales representative in the FMCG industry or related field.
• Strong understanding of FMCG products, market dynamics, and consumer behavior.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
• Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license (if applicable) and reliable transportation.

• Experience in managing key accounts or large retailers.
• Knowledge of local markets, consumer preferences, and regional trends.
• Experience with trade marketing, merchandising, and promotional activities.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
